A Dance Healing session is a guided movement journey in a lead-and-follow couple format. Blending dance, mindfulness, energy work, and emotional release, it's designed to unlock healing on every level: physical, emotional, and spiritual.
It's not just movement, it's transformation, connection, and realignment with your truest self. This is one of several ways to work with me directly; you'll find Douceur, Spiritual, Partner, and Group options on the Connection Sessions page too.

A Dance Healing session goes far beyond technique, it taps into your energy and core essence to uncover the root causes behind physical or emotional blocks. Unlike traditional dance lessons, which focus on external form, Dance Healing works from the inside out, exploring the deeper layers that shape who you are, both in life and in movement.
The results? Often instant. Always lasting.
Because technique is nothing without the soul behind it.
You don’t just learn to dance, you rediscover you. That’s the Magic. -
Since the age of four, dance has been part of my life, and for over a decade I've explored spiritual healing through NLP, EFT, Quantum Healing, meditation, and more. I've trained in Access Consciousness Bars and Body Processes, Energy Healing, Psychometry, Intuitive Counselling, and Dance Teaching. What I offer isn't generic, it's shaped by years of my own practice and a genuine belief in what movement and presence can unlock. Including my own personal experiences with Douceur and Dance Healing and I'd love to share that with you. More info here

Not at all! No dance experience is required. These sessions are rooted in Fusion Kizomba, but if you can walk, you can dance, and that's all you need.
The focus is on connection, self-expression, and healing, not performance or perfect technique. If you'd like to build technique alongside that, a Douceur Private is the session for you.

Dance Healing has a way of unlocking what’s been stuck, leaving you feeling lighter and more connected. Participants often experience improved mood, reduced stress, increased body awareness, and emotional release.
Whether it’s a gentle, relaxing flow or a deep dive into the hidden corners of your life, these sessions meet you exactly where you are. You’re always guided by what’s ready to emerge in that moment and no matter what, you’ll leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more in tune with yourself.
-
Each session begins with a brief chat to clarify your intention, followed by guided movement, breathwork, music, and dance. We’ll explore your body and energy through movement, creating space for emotional release and self-discovery. Time for reflection ensures you leave with insights.
Every session is uniquely tailored to the energy and needs of you or your group, so no two experiences are the same.

Sessions with me are gentle, unhurried, and shaped around you. There's no judgment and nothing to get "right." I hold space for whatever comes up, whether that's stillness, emotion, laughter, or just learning to move a little more freely. Many people say it feels less like a lesson and more like coming home to themselves.
As one participant put it: “Taryn is a beautiful human being. Whether through dance or conversation, she has a way of weaving her magic and making you see things from a different perspective. She has a unique and very delicate understanding of life and its rhythms, and there is something truly special about the way she shares it.
Whether you’re looking for guidance through a situation in your life or wanting to deepen and improve your dancing, I couldn’t recommend her more highly.”

Item Wear comfortable clothes you can move in freely. Ladies, heels are not required, these sessions are best in flats or socks. Bring water, and consider a journal if you’d like to reflect after the session
-
While deeply therapeutic, these sessions are not a substitute for clinical therapy. They can be a powerful complement to mental health practices, personal or dance development, and any existing mindfulness practice.
-
Both, and more. One-on-one options include Douceur Private, Dance Healing Private, and Spiritual 1:1, each with a different focus. Partner Sessions are for couples or any pair wanting to deepen their connection through movement, and Group Workshops are available for communities, gatherings, or events. You'll find the full list, with pricing, on the Connection Sessions page
-
Some people benefit from a single session, while others attend fortnightly or monthly. Consistency can deepen the process, but each journey is unique, and you'll know what's right for you.
If you're looking for a structured path, the Douceur Container (5 sessions over 6 weeks) and the Spiritual Container (4 sessions) are both built around consistent, ongoing sessions. You'll find these on the Connection Sessions page.

Sessions are primarily offered in Lisbon, Portugal, either in a cozy home setting or a dance studio. You can also book a session at international Kizomba festivals. Douceur Private, Dance Healing Private, and Spiritual 1:1 are all available online too, so if you'd rather join from wherever you are, just let me know when you get in touch.

Message me directly on WhatsApp with the session you're interested in, or use the contact form if you're not sure what's right for you. Pricing and full session details are on the Connection Sessions page.

Douceur is a slow, close-embrace partner dance rooted in Fusion Kizomba. Think of it as a standing meditation: micromovements, stillness within closeness, and a quality of touch that asks you to slow down rather than perform. It's not about mastering steps quickly, it's about learning to truly feel your partner, and yourself, through movement.
-
No. Many people start with the free lessons on the Douceur page and bring what they've learned into a private session or when they find someone to practice with.
-
It's a beginner-friendly course covering foundations like the 12 spiritual laws and chakras, sacred objects like crystals and oracle cards, energy healing, intuition and aura reading, and how to bring it all into everyday life. No experience needed. [More details here.]
-
Not at all. It's an open, supportive space to explore, ask questions, and find what feels true for you, with no pressure to believe anything in particular.
